Have you experienced some major changes in the last few months?

The big wave of interest in the Mayan calendar has subsided since we are still on this planet and our way of life has not be obliterated.  As a little time has past, it is worthwhile to stop and reflect on the changes you have experienced which you may not  have associated with this larger shift. There has never been an easier time to let go of the old and bring in the new.

I recently made a major change. I put my house on the market in last Spring because I felt compelled to do so. If you ever saw my cottage in the woods, you would surely think I was nuts . And yet I was feeling pretty  strong that I should do it even though I could not give a solid logical reason for doing so. Publicly,  I said it was because I was an empty nester and no longer wanted to do yard work. Privately, I attributed to the urging of my inner CEO and went full throttle.

With the on-set of 3 offers within the first week to all 3 offers falling through, to searching for a new home to finding there was none I liked even close to the one I was living in, I started doubting. Plus, investing thousands of dollars in the remodeling, painting and new carpeting to get the house “show ready" made my wallet hurt.  So after a couple of months, I decided to take the house off the market. That's when the magic began. As I was repairing the cracks in my walls, I thought of my own cracks in my body and took myself to a chiropractor where I received treatments which they called alignments.  I started to appreciate the home I was living in and the beauty that surrounded it, especially all the animals that lay claim to the woods that surrounded my home.

Within weeks, I sold the house to the prefect couple and bought a condo in the neighborhood I was hoping to be in. It was only in hindsight that I began to understand that the shift for me came when I let go of my idea of how the house should sell. It was not on the market when it sold. And neither was the condo that I bought. Yet it all worked out perfectly for all of us. Everyone is thrilled with the changes. None of this happened according to the usual protocols. However, those protocols are shifting too. This is a time in our evolution when we are reinventing so many ways of doing things. We are becoming aware that changes are occurring inside of us as well as outside of us,   even if we do not understand them. I was and am divinely guided in selling my house and moving. The whole experience gave me a shift in perspective as well as locale. I do attribute this shift to the shift we as a species are making to a broader perspective. Mine was just more tangible.
